EVENT

eat, eight

In the fall of 2017, we produced "EAT, EIGHT," an intimate anniversary celebration for EAT that embodied our combined commitment to creating memorable experiences through innovative design, cultural exploration, and sustainability.

A LEED Platinum-certified home in Los Angeles' famed Venice Beach played the perfect host for this artistic dinner as Nicolas Torrent and his team crafted a three-course, family-style menu from local and organic ingredients. His take on multi-cultural cuisine served as a cultural portal, celebrating EAT's global team spread across seven countries: the USA (California), Brazil, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and Ireland. To complement his menu, we curated a selection of biodynamic local wines, organic spirits, and a unique caipirinha station.

From the conscious living space and menu to our foam-free floral design, considered gifting moments, and even our green cleaning supplies and matches dipped in green, sustainable elements, woven seamlessly throughout, were kept elevated, approachable, and fun.

As the evening unfolded, EAT's strategic design was fully showcased with interactive placemats featuring engaging conversation prompts. These elements fostered a sense of togetherness through exploration, immersing their diverse clientele in the experience. Representatives from the fashion, technology, and music industries, including companies such as Red Bull, Birtcher, Techstyle, and EA Games, were among the attendees enjoying this thoughtfully curated atmosphere.

Drawing to a close, in a room filled with warm laughter and a gentle breeze, EAT blew out the candles on their logo-shaped cake, sending wishes towards the ocean's door—a fitting finale for an always-on-brand, world-class design studio.
